Digital books, delivered as illustrated PDF files. There is no physical product, no shipment and no subscription. Delivery is handled by Gumroad and normally arrives within a minute of the payment clearing, by email and on a download page. The files are yours to keep, to read on any device you own, and to print for your own use.
The books are licensed to you personally. Please do not redistribute, resell, upload, mirror or share the files, and do not reproduce substantial parts of them in any medium without written permission. Brief quotations in reviews and commentary are fine and always were.
All payments are taken by Gumroad, Inc. under Gumroad’s terms of service, and any question about a charge, a failed delivery or a duplicate order is handled through Gumroad’s own support in the first instance. Prices are in US dollars. Promotional pricing runs for as long as it is shown on the site and may end at any time.
The accounts in these volumes are presented as reported. They are narrative reconstructions drawn from witness statements and documentary records. Nothing in them has been verified by any government agency, university or scientific body, and no physical specimen supports any account. Where a mainstream explanation exists it is stated alongside the account, and where a test has been run its published result is printed even where it contradicts the story. The books are published for reading and for interest; belief is left to the reader.
Nothing in these books is an invitation to go looking. Backcountry travel carries real risk and is your own responsibility. Follow local guidance, respect private and Indigenous land, and treat the country and the animals in it with the care they are owed.
